San Antonio is experiencing a renaissance in its historic districts, thanks to a series of urban revitalization projects aimed at preserving the city's rich cultural heritage while promoting economic growth.
The city’s recent initiatives, led by the San Antonio Economic Development Department, have focused on revitalizing neighborhoods such as King William and Lavaca, areas known for their historic architecture and vibrant communities. Over the past three years, the city has allocated approximately $15 million for these projects, which include infrastructure improvements, façade restorations, and public space enhancements.
