Leading companies, such as Fluence Energy and Brookfield Renewable Partners, are spearheading projects in cities like Dallas and Fort Worth, focusing on large-scale battery installations that provide vital grid support and enhance reliability. Fluence recently announced plans for a $300 million facility in Dallas, expected to come online by mid-2027.
“Energy storage is key to integrating renewables and ensuring we have a reliable energy supply,” noted Maria Gonzalez, TESA’s Executive Director. “With the right investments, Texas can lead the way in clean energy innovation.”
