According to a report by PitchBook, Austin startups secured $2.5 billion in funding over the past six months, a 40% increase compared to the same period last year. This influx of capital is largely driven by interest in artificial intelligence, health tech, and fintech sectors.

Notable funding rounds include a $600 million investment in AI startup Everly, which specializes in machine learning applications for healthcare.
